Q. What’s a LUT?
LUT stands for ‘Look-Up-Table,’ a mathematically precise way of taking specific RGB image values and modifying them to new RGB image values by changing the hue, saturations, and brightness values of the source image.
Q. What editing software do I need to use the LUTs?
Our LUTs, in the form of .CUBE files, can be used on any professional application; such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, Sony Vegas, Avid, and many more.
Q. Are your LUTs only for GoPro footage?
They are not just limited to GoPro. On GoPro footage, the LUTs work fantastic. We also experience even greater results using our LUTs on cameras made by Panasonic, Canon, Sony, Nikon, DJI, BlackMagic, and all other large consumer brand cameras. That is partially due to GoPro being a small action camera with less dynamic range than some other brands that are mentioned above.
Q. Are your downloads instant? How do I receive them?
Yes, all of your downloads are instant. They are sent to you via email immediately after payment is completed.
Q. What comes with the LUT pack?
Depending on your purchase, there will be up to 6 primary LUTs, 2 special conversion LUTs, and all camera-type conversion LUTs. If you purchase Johnny FPV LUTs PRO EDITION, you will receive an additional 6 “Sandscape” LUTs from Johnny’s latest video.
Q. Are tutorials available?
Yes. We have a tutorial for Final Cut Pro X. However, there are plenty of tutorials online where you can quickly learn how to import the LUTs into your application if you don't use Final Cut Pro X.
Q. What currency do you use?
Everything in our store is in USD. If you’re purchasing in a different currency that’s still ok. Your bank will convert it to your usual currency.
